35 'OccupySacramento' protestors arrested through weekend | Community
SACRAMENTO - Late Saturday night and early Sunday morning, 14 more OccupySacramento members were arrested at Cesar Chavez Park.
35 arrests have been made since Thursday, with 20 protestors detained on Thursday and one on Friday.
All of the protestors were charged with a misdemeanor charge of failure to leave the scene of an unlawful protest or riot and many were also charged with violating the Cesar Chavez Park curfew of 11 p.m.
The 20 people jailed on Thursday were held for between six and 12 hours.
